Computer Graphics

Nowadays it is vital to be able to use computers to effectively communicate ideas, manage work and correspond with clients. I have experience in using Windows software and design programes including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and AutoCAD 2004 and 2007. I have created models and animations in Sketchup and I am well versed in using standard office software such as Word and Excel. I am quick to learn new software and have begun using GIS at work and at university.

I have experience in using CAD for 2-D and 3-D projects including master planning and construction details. This sheet shows some construction details from an urban design project in 2004.

Photoshop has become useful for making CAD or hand drawn images come to life. I have used this successfully for 5 years to create beautiful presentations. It is also useful in photo editing, montages and photo stitching.

Indesign is useful in laying out presentation boards, letterheads or reports. I use it on everything to bring projects together and present a professional document.

Sketchup is a great tool to get inside the design and show others what is happening. I use it to explore the potential of a design and to present flythrough animations.
