BMLA
Work at Baxter Miller Landscape Architects (2005-6)
BMLA (www.bmla.net) gave me my first professional experience in a Landscape Architecture office. I loved it and I was given some superb opportunities. I took part in daily presentations, CAD designs, meetings with staff and clients and I became lead designer for a major new sports park. I also helped to improve the efficiency the office workings and trained staff in the use of design software, including Photoshop and Illustrator. I learnt a lot at the office and got to experience working practices in the USA, with close contact with planning offices, other designers and irrigation and highways engineers. I was inspired by Baxter Miller who became my mentor and my friend. He has submitted a written reference for me, whcih can be viewed on my CV page.
El Cerrito Park
A major new sports park, which I was able to work on from early conceptual stages. When I left the office we were completing construction drawings in preparation for building work to commence in 2007.
Team BMLA
I enjoyed working in Southern California, but would like to work in UK office and expand my experiences of the profession. Here we are on a company Baseball game, with all the team.
