Report Writing

I have become efficient and professional in researching and writing reports, including Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), local or regional character assessments and general reports or correspondence.

Environmental Impact Assessments are now increasingly important. Lectured by Carys Swanwick, I have excellent experience in carrying out and writing technical and non-technical reports.

A 2006 report demonstrated my ability not only to write quick effective character descriptions, but to use clear methodology in making judgements and addressing impacts of development.

Having completed a BA in Landscape Design with Planning I have a good background in planning law. This 2006 report improved my recent knowledge of the planning system and legal implications.

Researching landscape technology and environmental issues is fascinating to me. From an experience in California I wrote a report summarising current irrigation technology and outlining the practical alternatives available.
